The high peaks, tranquil valleys, fast flowing rivers, waterfalls and forests attract so many walkers and climbers to Snowdonia National Park. But also provide the photographer with some of the most outstanding landscape scenery in Wales. This weekend is designed to give beginners or those looking to get more from their digital camera the confidence to use your camera to its full potential. Through motivating, practical sessions you’ll learn more about your camera and various techniques to capture the magnificent scenery that Snowdonia has to offer. Our base for the weekend is Beddgelert a charming village and great location from which to explore the surrounding area. From sweeping glacial valleys, serene lakes, the winding river to the dramatic Aberglaswyn Pass provide the canvas to learn and capture great photos.
Accommodation: The Royal Goat Hotel is privately owned and has a friendly atmosphere; the bedrooms are en suite centrally heated rooms with the usual facilities such as telephone, TV, hair dryer and tea and coffee making facilities. The hotel has a bar and comfortable lounge.

Tuition: Tuition is in the form of in-the-field talks, demonstrations, one-to-ones, review sessions and discussions.
You can learn about: Camera functions and handling; Composition; Exposures; Apertures; Shutter speeds; Depth of Field and Using Filters.
Group size is limited to 8: Small groups mean that you get the best out of a location and receive the personal attention to learn at your own pace.
