For this holiday in the Brecon Beacons we will be staying in a cluster of well-appointed cottages around a courtyard on a working farm. The cottages were formally stables, dairy and granary and have been sympathetically converted to retain their character yet provide modern facilities. The area is a great place to walk, cycle, climb, pony trek or visit some of the nearby attractions. We can visit the attractive nearby villages and towns. We organise an activity or visit each day. The climbing and rope centre at nearby Llangorse is very popular with children and adults but you can just watch if you prefer. This holiday is most suitable for children aged 6 and over.
The cottages are self-catering but you will be provided with all the ingredients for continental breakfast (cereal, bread, jam, orange juice etc) and everything for packed lunches (bread and lots of fillings, crisps, chocolate biscuits and fruit).
Also included are 3 of the evening meals when we will have a BBQ or communal meal with adult and child options. On other nights you might want to eat out in one of the local hostelries, we can get together in the cottages to put together a cottage meal, or a popular option is to get a take away from the nearby village. Rooms are mainly 2 bed rooms, there are a couple of 3 bed and 1 x 4 bed room - so each family will be able to have their own room(s).
