Make sure you have Holiday Insurance

It is a condition of travel for overseas holidays that you take out Holiday Insurance. We also advise you take out holiday insurance for UK holidays. We recommend Tagconnect, underwritten by Travel and General Insurance Company PLC. (Telephone 0845 408 0583 or email insurance@tagconnect.co.uk).

Children aged 0 – 1 year are free when accompanied by an insured adult

Passports and Visas

You should make sure you have at least 6 months remaining on all of your passports.

You should advise us if you are not a British Citizen.

Ensure that you have acquired any visas required.

Vaccinations, and Health issues

You should obtain a European Health Insurance Card, if you don’t already have one. You can apply online at www.ehic.org.uk/Internet/home.do You can also apply by picking up an Application form from the Post Office or by telephone 0845 606 2030 – you will need your NHS or NI number to apply.

It is your responsibility to ensure that any health requirements are met and that you take advice from your GP or local Health Centre regarding any health issues in relation to the country you are visiting or your and your children’s health.

If you or your children have any health issues, you should advise us of these at the time of booking and ensure that you take any medicines you may need while you are away.

We recommend everyone takes adequate sun protection, after-sun lotion, sunglasses, sunhats, antiseptic wipes, plasters, Paracetemol, antihistamine tablets and cream.

Airport Parking with or without an overnight stay

If you require parking and/or an overnight stay before your flight, Mango holidays have teamed up with Holiday Extras, a company that offers very competitive prices for both. It is often just as cheap or cheaper to book a hotel with parking than just parking.

Joining Details

14 days before departure we will send out a set of joining details. These will give you all the information you will need. The joining pack will contain:

Overseas Holidays

• baggage labels
• details of flights, baggage allowances, check-in times, etc.
• meeting and transfer arrangements
• name, address and contact details for the accommodation
• currency information
• useful information
• health advice, if applicable
• name and contact details of your Mango Holiday co-ordinator
• names of your fellow Mango holiday-makers and the ages of the children booked on the trip

UK Holidays

• name, address and contact details for the accommodation
• how to get there, nearest station, etc.
