MANGO will be holidaying in Romania for a Ski Trip in February Half - Term, we have found a family friendly resort with nursery slopes and ski school. We will be visiting Mallorca again at Easter, Spring Bank Holiday, summer and in the October Half-Term, where we will be staying in a family-run hotel right on the safe, sandy beach. We will also be visiting Nerja in Andalucia at Easter and in the October half-term, staying in pueblo style houses around a pool and near the beach and town. We have organised a week in the summer to Cyprus where we will be staying half board at a quiet family run hotel. We will also be visiting Jersey in the summer, staying half board at a hotel which is set in its own ten acres of award winning gardens.
In the UK at Spring Bank Holiday and August Bank Holiday MANGO will be staying at the only 5 star hostel in Europe, near St Davids in Pembrokeshire. All the rooms are en-suite and the hostel has an Eat Well in Wales award. We will take over the whole hostel and can organise games in the grounds or if it is raining in the barn as well as visiting the local beaches.
During the Summer we will also be visiting the seaside resort of Woolacombe, North Devon. There is the award winning sandy beach where we can relax and play games, as well as many other attractions to visit.
And in August we stay in some cottages around a courtyard on a working farm in the Brecon Beacons, from where we can do some easy walks, visit local attractions, villages, organise cycling, a visit to the nearby climbing centre and go pony trekking. Holidays for lone parents and their children can often be a nightmare if you are surrounded by two parent families and feel left out. With MANGO parents can join in the fun too and meet other adults in the same situation.
Activities
MANGO also runs activities for parents and their children, who want to get out and do things together around the West Midlands. Activities so far have included walks, barbecues, bike rides in the park, pottery-making and bowling.
Weekends away
For 2006 MANGO will be organising weekends away - walking in the Yorkshire Dales, and Pony trekking and walking in the Gower.

Mango Holidays sometimes referred to as MangoKids run holidays for single parents with their children. Small families with just one or two children are often penalised by the big tour operators who charge for two adults. Our solo holidays for single parents with children consist of adventure and activity breaks, ski holidays and holidays in the sun. Mango single parent holidays take place in the UK and overseas. In the UK we have holidays in Devon, Brecon Beacons and Pembrokeshire and we have a Christmas Party weekend in Warwickshire at the end of November. Mango holidays for single parent families overseas travel to Mallorca, Malta, Cyprus, Jersey, Morocco and Lapland to see Santa.
