Skiing in Transylvania, Romania..

A great introduction to skiing in a friendly, fun environment.

This fantastic value for money holiday includes includes; flights, full board, ski hire, ski school, visit to Bran (Dracula's Castle) and the medieval market town of Brasov. Romania remains a firm favourite for first time and the improver skiers amd represents a great value introduction to wintersports. We are repeating this very popular ski holiday to Romania, staying in the resort of Predeal in Transylvania. Our instructors have been training our Mango ski groups for a number of years and they offer Mango adults and children a warm welcome to their ski school. Our instructors include former international Romanian ski team members and the ski school specialises in teaching children from international schools to ski. Adults and children will learn to ski in Mango only ski groups enabling you to socialise and enjoy your ski days as part of the Mango group. Predeal is a quiet ski resort but also the the highest ski resort in Romania (1033m). It is a relatevely compact ski resort with 6 ski runs accessed by a chairlift, two button lifts and a small drag lift for beginners. This destination is ideal for beginners and improvers. Those of you with more experience might want to visit the nearby resorts of Busteni, Sinaia and Poiana Brasov. You can visit the fairy tale castle at Sinaia and we include a visit to Dracula's castle at Bran and nearby Brasov a pretty medieval town.

Our Accommodation.

We will be staying in the ski lodge based right next to the nursery slopes . All the rooms are en suite, clean and cheerful and most have balconies. The hotel has twin, triple and quad rooms. The holiday is based on full board which includes breakfast, lunch and evening meal (drinks are extra). Mango guests have free use of sledges and a games room. There is also a skating rink next door to the hotel (open weather permitting).

We all eat together.

We eat breakfast and lunch together and in the evening we meet up in the bar before dinner so that we can all go into dinner together and reminisce about the days activities.

Mango Single Parent Holidays are for single parents with their children. Small families with just one parent are often penalised and charged for two adults. Mango offers a discount to these small families for all children up to the age of 16 travelling with just one adult. Single parents meet other single parents, but it's not a single parents dating organisation.
