Mid Wales Easter Break..

Join Mango for this fantastic holiday in Mid Wales for fun days for children and adults alike, including a visit to the Red Kite Centre and a one hour horse-riding lesson, Easter disco & and Easter egg. The Metropole Hotel is a 4 star Spa Hotel located in Llandrindod Wells, a pretty Victorian Market and Spa town in Powys, Mid Wales. There are pretty walks around the town and the lake and parkland as well as enjoying the fantactic pool and facilities of the hotel and fabulous food in the hotel's dining room.

The Spa town of Llandrindod Wells, a town that continues to surprise its visitors with a wealth of attractions. The Beautiful Heart of Wales deserves its' reputation as one of the Country's most breathtaking areas.

Mid Wales has a huge variety of indoor and outdoor attractions for you to enjoy whilst staying at the Metropole, and during this Mango weekend we have included in the price an hours horse riding and a visit to the Red Kite Centre at feeding time. Originally 6 red kites were roosting on the farm but by the winter of 2006 over 400 were coming in for food in the winter. Red kites, being hungry when they awake, will hunt for food during the morning and early afternoon, so Gigrin provides a top up or emergency ration.

Accommodation..

Our 4 star Spa Hotel Metropole dates back to 1872, originally the largest hotel in Wales and now owned by the great great grandson of the original founder. It has a lovely 18 metre heated indoor swimming pool, whirlpool spa, thermal suites, Jacuzzi , fully equipped gymnasium and a wide range of holistic, beauty and complementary therapy treatments to soothe, relax and rejuvenate both body and spirit . We will be staying 3 nights half board in twin, triple or quad en suite rooms depending on family sizes. There are tea and coffee-making facilities in the room. There is a train station in Llandrindod Wells.

Activities..

This holiday includes a one hour horse-riding lesson and a visit to the Red Kite Centre at feeding time.
