Lake District Activity and Adventure..

Following the fantastic success of the Mango Wales Activity holiday we wanted to offer an alternative more raw outdoor experience. Where can you find a more dramatic setting for your outdoor pursuits than the Lake District National Park. With its Lakes & fells it offers the visitor a great sense of space & freedom.

This holiday offers activities in wild surroundings; climb a real rock face, kayak on lake waters as well as fun team games in the outdoors.

Accommodation..

Our accommodation is situated in the beautiful Borrowdale Valley surrounded by spectacular scenery. We will be staying 4 nights, full board (drinks not included) in twin rooms (family rooms available on request).

There are 3 meals per day included, breakfast, lunch and evening meal (if you are off site packed lunches are provided). All food is homemade & freshly prepared. Dietry requirements are catered for and should be requested at the time of booking. There are tea and coffee-making facilities in the room.  There is a spacious lounge and bar and a sun terrace where you can relax and watch the children play in the properties 5 acres of rural grounds.

Activities

Our qualified and experienced instructors are trained to encourage teamwork and communication and to develop confidence, maturity, self esteem & independence in participants as well as making your days full and most importantly - FUN!    

This holiday includes three activity days and they will normally take place between 09.30 & 17.00hrs.

Sample itinerary (activities are changeable depending on weather conditions);

DAY 1: Climbing and canoeing

DAY 2: Ghyll scrambling and fell walking

DAY 3:  Orienteering, archery, coracle building and team games

Also included:

Hire of kit including waterproofs and boots.
