Ski Val di Sole, Italy

The beautiful Italian ski area of Val di sole, the valley of the sun, an area that offers up to 120 ski runs for beginners, intermediate and expert skiers. Skiing is from lifts at Marilleva 900 up to Marilleva 1400 and these give you direct access to the ski areas of Madonna di Campiglio and Folgarida offering you 47 lifts and 130km of prepared pistes. For those keen to ski a wider area you can also purchase the super skirama pass allowing you access to 380km including the slopes of Passo Tonale and Adamello Brenta. For the younger children there is Marillandia, an area of 8000 sq metres tailored especially offering 2 carpet lifts, transformed with colourful games making it a fun area to learn to ski. Our Accommodation

Mango will be staying for 7 nights in the lovely 4 star Monte Giner Hotel located in a central position in the charming village of Mezzana. Hotel rooms are simple but carefully designed with private facilities, hairdryer and "courtesy set". They have balcony, telephone, colour TV, safe and minibar. The hotel chef prides himself in offering local and Mediterranean cuisine. Your holiday price includes a tasty buffet breakfast offering local produce such as sweets cold meats, cheeses, yoghurts, jams honey fruit and more besides. Between 6 & 5pm you can indulge in an after ski nibble with a choice of homemade cakes, strudel, mini pizzas, savoury cakes and fresh fruit followed in the evening by the hotels gourmet menu.

Hotel Facilities

Wellness Centre: After a long days skiing you can enjoy the hotels wellness centre open from 14.00hrs until 19.30hrs Enjoy the indoor swimming pool and saunas.

• Covered heated swimming pool with water effects and showers at a temperature of 30 degrees
• Jacuzzi at 36 degrees
• Finnish sauna: a dry bath at 80°-110°C. It's a rustic setting filled with the fragrance of upper mountain wood. The majolica stove produces a pleasant heat and creates a really enjoyable atmosphere. The natural aromas stimulate the circulation, helping to detoxicate the body and have a beneficial effect on the skin and respiratory organs.
• Vitarium: This facility offers a symbiosis of natural and curative elements. The vigorous heat and a mild steam, together with natural essences and stimulating fragrances, soothing and meditative music and mono-coloured lighting, stimulate the respiratory tracts and the immune system. The particular use of coloured lights creates a notable positive biological effect throughout the body. After this celebration of the senses you'll see the world in a new light and you'll feel rejuvenated.
• Turkish bath: steam bath at 45°-48°C. This bath offers a pleasant combination of radiant heat and steam. The heat radiated from the benches and walls increases body temperature, reinforcing its immune system, while you enjoy the benefit of a steam bath at the same time. Recommended for improving the respiratory system, it facilitates pH regulation, hydration and skin cleansing. A pleasant and beneficial aromatic bath is achieved by adding natural essences mixed with the steam.
• Kneipp Therapy: A course that stimulates the circulation of the lower limbs by immersing the feet in special hot and cold water sprays.                                                                   
• Wellness Centre Rules: Admission to children under 15 years of age is permitted only if accompanied by a parent. Admission to the Sauna area is permitted with or without a bathing costume. A bathing cap is compulsory when you are in the swimming pool (it is possible to buy one in the hotel). It is compulsory to wear suitable sandals/flip-flops for around the pool and leisure area (it is possible to buy them in the hotel).

Beauty Zone: The Beauty Zone is open from 9.00 to 13.00 and from 14.30 to 19.00.

• Solarium: Token-operated shower. Ask for the tokens at the Beauty Reception
• Beauty and Massage Centre: Beauticians are on hand to advise you in the choice of the most suitable massages and treatments.
• Bookings at the Beauty Centre: we recommend contacting the beauty manager at least one week before your arrival.

Mango Holiday Fun

The trip will be accompanied by a Mango co-ordinator. The co ordinator will ensure that your holiday runs as smoothly as possible. There will be a get together before dinner each evening so that you can all dine together and share your experiences of the day. The Mango co ordinator will organise the collection of ski equipment and liaise with the ski instructors. Ski lessons will be in dedicated Mango groups ensuring that you socialise with the other Mango guests. An ideal way for you and your children to make friends and have lots of fun !
