Cyprus, Paphos 

Mango guests have repeatedly enjoyed their group holiday in the resort of Paphos. Situated on the West coast of Cyprus, Paphos town is built around a pretty harbour boasting open air fish restaurants and colourful fishing boats. Cyprus is a carefree place where a sense of timelessness is magnified by the kindness of the people. Paphos offers historical and archaeological interest to all ages.

Optional activities are a Jeep Safari or we can arrange for you to experience an introduction to scuba diving or snorkelling. Car hire is relatively cheap so if you want to venture off and explore further afield bring your driving licence. There are lots of things to do and places to visit but if you prefer to laze by the pool or on the beach, you will find it equally enjoyable. 

Accommodation

We will be staying on a half board basis at the Kissos hotel, a low-rise three star resort hotel in beautifully landscaped gardens, built next to the “Tombs of the Kings” and the Paphos Lighthouse. All rooms are en suite and have balcony or terrace, hairdryer, satellite TV, radio, mini fridge, safe deposit box*, air conditioning/heating and telephone.

The hotel has two outdoor swimming pools suitable for children of all ages as well as games and play areas.

There is giant chess, mini golf, tennis and a gym room. There is entertainment in the evenings and activities in the pool and the hotel is just 300m from the beach. The restaurant has a different theme for each evening meal. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the harbour, the castle and the famous mosaics and the Aquarium. The tombs of the Kings is almost next door. Coral Bay, a sandy beach with the usual beach activities and a Taverna is just a short bus ride away.

We all eat together

Each evening we meet up in the bar before dinner so that we can all go into dinner together. We eat each evening in the hotel.

Mango group holiday fun

Each morning after breakfast the co-ordinator will meet up with the group and will organise a programme of activities and visits. There will also be a get together before dinner so that the group can go into the dining room and eat together. This holiday can be as active or as relaxing as you choose.
